This policy explains how Lcbi London Limited (“we”, “us”) handles personal data collected through this website. We are the data controller for that data. We are a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17228282).
Data we collect
- Enquiries — if you contact us, we receive the details you choose to give us, such as your name, company, contact details and the content of your message.
- Technical data — our web server records standard log information such as IP address, browser type, and the date and time of access.
How we use it
We use enquiry data to respond to you and to manage our business relationship with you. We use technical data to keep the website secure and working properly. Our lawful bases under UK GDPR are our legitimate interests in running our business and website and, where relevant, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Sharing and transfers
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (such as website hosting and email) and with our parent company, LCB International Co., Ltd. in Japan, where needed to handle your enquiry. Japan is covered by UK adequacy regulations. Our website is hosted in Japan.
Retention
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for our business records, and then delete it. Server logs are kept for a limited period.
Cookies
This website uses only cookies that are necessary for it to function. We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, write to us at the address below. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
